SysQuick offers a FREE Hardware Diagnostic, how does that work?
Yes, we certainly do. FREE hardware diagnostics is offered for all in-shop repairs. Our typical flat fee repair charge is $99 per computer (hardware upgrades/replacement is not included in this charge) when brought into our repair center (unless you have data loss or file corruption, this is an additional service). When you bring in your computer we will write you up a work order, have you sign and date it and we then attach the work order to your computer. The FREE hardware diagnostic is performed on a first come first served basis. After we have completed the FREE hardware diagnostic we call the customer to let them know if any hardware issues have been found. After discussing the outcome of the FREE hardware diagnostic, we either move forward with the $99 flat-fee repair charge to continue with fixing the computer or the customer comes back to pick-up the equipment. If we cannot run the FREE hardware diagnostics due to hardware failure, we call the customer to get permission to move forward with the $99 flat-fee repair charge or they can come and pick-up the equipment.
Do you buy broken laptops?
We do buy broken laptops but it depends on what is wrong with them. If it has a bad motherboard and the rest is intact (with power supply) then we usually can offer around $50. If there are other issues, we will need to do a hardware diagnostic first and then can make an offer afterwards. We do take donations and laptops for recycling.
What is your charge for on-site services?
Our on-site service charge for one PC technician is $149.00 for the first 2 hrs (minimum charge). Service is then billed at $75/hr.
What does SysQuick sell?
SysQuick sells new, custom built, used and refurbished computer equipment. This equipment includes, desktop and laptop computers, networking equipment, LCD monitors, printers, computer parts and more. If you need something computer related that we do not have mentioned, call and ask.
What is your charge for data recovery?
There is an initial diagnostics fee of $50 to test the drive requiring recovery. If it is a simple data transfer then the charge is $99 total (includes the $50 diagnostics fee). If the data is corrupt and needs rebuilt, the charge can be between $200-350 if we can perform the job in-house. If the drive is physically damaged and the drive or data needs to be rebuilt, the price will vary depending on the damage and how much data needs to be retrieved. When we get to this point, we send it to one of our partners to perform the data recovery as it required a clean room to rebuild the drive and data. WE ALWAYS CONSULT WITH THE CUSTOMER BEFORE ANY FURTHER CHARGES ARE INCURRED.
